17. Are you licensed?
1. Yes. Our Nadely Crescent location is licensed for group daycare, preschool, and before and after school care. Our Strickland Street location is licensed for infant and toddler care. And our Irwin Street location is licensed for group daycare, preschool, and before and after school care.

17. Are any of your programs currently under investigation by the local health authority?
1. No. We carry the best possible rating with the local health authority and we have since we opened.

17. How many children do you care for?
1. Our Nadely Crescent location is licensed for 16 children to be present at one time. Our Strickland Street location is licensed for 20 children. And our Irwin Street location is licensed for 56 children.

17. What ages are the children in your care?
1. Infant & Toddler - Ages 3 months to 3 years.
   Daycare & Preschool - Ages 3 years to 6 years.
   School Age - Ages 6 years to 9 years.

17. What are your hours of operation? What days are you closed?
1. We open at 7:30am and we close at 5:30pm. We try to be flexible and have opened earlier and stayed open later with special arrangments. For more information about what days we are closed, click here.

1. Although we believe that this should not carry any weight on your decision of where to place your child, you will find that our fees are competitive. For more information on our fees, click here..

1. Yes we believe in inclusion and we value all children.

17. Does your program have any special features?
1. We have incredible staff, a gymnasium, and a school bus. Please look around this site and you will see that we have a lot to offer.

1. With the exception of our scheduled closures, we are open all year round. If for any reason a teacher cannot teach for the day, we call in a substitute teacher.

17. Do you encourage parent involvement? Can I visit whenever I wish?
1. We have an open door policy which means you can come by and see us any time.

17. Does anyone in your childcare setting smoke? What is your policy when children are present?
1. There is no smoking permitted on any Jolly Giant premises.

17. Do you have a space available?

1. Yes. We keep a waiting list when our programs are full. Please contact us regarding space availability.
