| All of our programs at Jolly Giant Childcare
are built around a loving, caring, and secure environment
where the children’s basic needs (shelter, food,
water, safety, comfort, love, etc.) are always met. As
well as having their needs met the children participate
in our educational programs that are designed with age
appropriate activities and experiences to maximize learning
and growth, while establishing independence and self-esteem.

| Jolly Giant Childcare on Strickland
Street offers all day daycare programs for infants
and toddlers. As the infants get older they graduate
from the infant program to the toddler program.
Once children reach 30 months of age they are eligible
to graduate from the toddler program and begin enrollment
at one of our preschool age daycare centres. Many
children remain in our toddler program until they
reach 36 months to ensure they are socially and
emotionally ready to graduate to the next program. |

Meet the Educators |
|
Wendy is a licensed Early Childhood
Educator and has been working in the field of Childcare
since 1996. Upgrading along the way, Wendy graduated from
Malaspina University-College in 2001 with her ECE diploma.
Wendy is married and has three children of her own who
keep her very busy. Children with special needs touch
Wendy's heart as her second oldest child has special needs. |

Kim graduated with her Early Childhood
Educator Certificate in 2000. She has educated children
of all ages across Canada, in Mexico, and the Ukraine.
In addition to all of her experience abroad, Kim spent
time as a support worker learning skills to include chidlren
with special needs into high quality programs. |

She started her career working as a Support Worker, supporting children with extra needs in a childcare setting. Gina especially likes working with the infants and toddlers.
